Labret jewelry is a type of piercing generally worn on the lip, more precisely between the lip and the chin. It takes its name from the labrum, the anatomical part it crosses. The labret jewel can be positioned in various places on the lip, either in the center (vertical labret) or on the side (offset labret). It can also be placed on different parts of the ear.
Comprising several elements, including the stem with tray, the ball and sometimes additional ornaments, labret jewelry features a straight stem whose length varies according to the piercing location. Available in sterile and non-sterile versions.
